Montreal Canadiens Big & Tall Gear — S–6XL, XLT–5XLT
Montreal is the one city in hockey where the team is closer to a religion than a pastime. The Canadiens have won 24 Stanley Cups — more than any other franchise — and a winter Saturday night at the Bell Centre, with the building singing in French and English at once, is on every hockey fan’s bucket list. This page gathers Montreal Canadiens hoodies, tees and polos in big and tall sizes S through 6XL, with tall sizes XLT through 5XLT.

The red sweatshirt leads, the polo follows — the two most-worn pieces of Habs gear outside the arena itself.
Montreal Canadiens Red Sweatshirt Hoodie
The big red hoodie: full-zip front, drawstring hood, two front pockets and the CH embroidered where it belongs. Montreal winters are a serious business, and this is a serious layer — the one you see on the metro ride to the Bell Centre from November through April.

Montreal Canadiens Polo Shirt
Not every Habs conversation happens at a rink. The polo carries the crest on the chest in a shirt that works at the office, the golf course and the restaurant — moisture-wicking polyester with a three-button placket and a flat knit collar, in the full big and tall range.

Montreal Canadiens Big and Tall FAQ
Do Canadiens hoodies and tees come in 6XL?
Yes — the apparel linked here runs S through 6XL with tall sizes XLT through 5XLT. Use the size links above to land on your size directly.
What about Canadiens jerseys in big sizes?
One honest note: jerseys run smaller than the rest of the line. Canadiens jerseys have historically topped out around 4XL while the tees, hoodies and polos carry the full ladder — if you are a 5XL or 6XL, the fleece and tee range is where your size lives. Custom jerseys let you put any roster name and number on the back.
Why do people call them the Habs?
Short for les Habitants, the early French settlers of Quebec — the nickname is older than the NHL itself. The CH on the sweater stands for Club de Hockey Canadien.
What is the difference between 4X and 4XL, or XT and XLT?
Nothing — they are the same sizes written two ways. Retailers mix the labels, so this page lists both spellings to match what is printed on the tags.
Canadiens Facts for the Ride Home
The Canadiens were founded in 1909 — eight years before the NHL existed — which makes them the oldest continuously operating professional hockey team in the world. The 24 Stanley Cups include the five straight from 1956 to 1960, a run no NHL team has matched. Maurice “Rocket” Richard was the first player to score 50 goals in 50 games, and the old Montreal Forum was said to have ghosts that looked after the team in the playoffs; when the club moved to the Bell Centre in 1996, fans half-seriously wondered whether the ghosts would make the trip. The rivalries need no building up: Toronto is the oldest feud in the league, and Boston in the playoffs is a century-old grudge that still fills both buildings.
